I have been thinking about implementing this new feature in Fluxus for about 6 months now. I started it twice than lost the code in recurrent harddrive crashes. I owe Christopher Baker a thank you for suggesting that the text layer of Fluxus should be involved more in the performance.

At the time of writing you need to download the scratchpad-effects branch of Fluxus to be able to use this feature.
